Tonka tough

So this year I lost track of time and was surprised by a clutch of eggs...
two eggs died, and two looked BAD. They were shriveled and small...and just never plumped back up...but I cooked them anyway.

Today was day 55...so I cut them a bit to take a peak...
both have little snakes inside, and I am not TOTALLY sure..but both looked like pastels...
Woot!

Just goes to show you how tough reptiles (and their eggs) can be.
