Yard/enclosure/turtle pics

vichris Jun 02, 2009 11:07 PM

South facing end of my back yard where the turtle enclosure is located.

North facing end of my yard

Middle part of the yard

East facing pic from the north end of the yard where the turtle enclosure is.

These two females seem to hang out together alot. They are the same two that were tusseling over some food in my last photo essay. The smaller one is the little feisty female and the big one is my old large female that is a chowhound. She also is one of the most friendly and methodical. They seem to nap like this during the midday stacked up like pancakes.

Nice yard and setup. It's neat to see how others have their BTEs situated in their yard.

Thanks Curtis,

Frankly it was about the only place left I could put it. I used to reserve that spot for my vegetable garden. I've discovered I can grow just as many veggies in far less space with fewer headaches in other ways. And the turtles like it better too......I think.

Your yard is beautiful and I just love your boxie pen. I wish I could do something like that with mine, but I will have to have a top....

Nice yard and pen, I am in the process of buiding a large pond in our back yard and when it is done the boxies will go into a pen surrounding our smaller shallow pond.
