I kind of thought that would be the outcome.. It rarely ever works out and your eggs look a little wet to me.. It never hurts to try though!

I once found a freshly hit DOR calligaster along the road that was just full of eggs. She looked close to laying so I took her carcass home and did a fillet knife C-section to try to save the eggs and possibly hatch them and release the young. She must have still been a bit early. None of the eggs went to term. They looked EXACTLY like what you pictured here.
Sorry that this didn't work out, but at least you did try.
