cbmorphs Jun 03, 2009 03:03 PM

Here's some updated pics of my 08 Lipstick line Jungle litter 100% het Anery, 66% het Albino.

I took these over the weekend with my limited camera skills!

Sunglow Jungle 100% het Anery, can't really notice it here, but in person this guy has these white spots in front and behind his saddles!!! kind of kool!

Albino Jungle 100% het Anery, she has some nice coraling starting to come in!

Hypo Jungle het Anery, 66% het Albino

Hypo Jungle het Anery, 66% het Albino

Hypo Jungle ect. ect.

Hypo Jungle ect. ect..

Normal Jungle 100% het Anery, 66% het Albino

Normal Jungle

Hypo Jungle

Normal Jungle

Normal Jungle, nice long red tail

All the normal Jungles from this litter have really nice red tails! There's more Jungles from this litter (one of which is a male Albino loaded with reds), but they are all in shed...

Enjoy and thanks for looking!

That's great if these have a positive influence on you liking Jungles!!! I'm sure there's plenty of other breeders that would like hearing that too!

Thanks for your reply!

All of those boas are gorgeous! I was wondering how you can tell the difference between the Jungle Sunglow and the Sunglows. I am going to be producing a litter next year from a hypo jungle het albino x sunglow and the jungle sunglow in the first picture looks a lot like my sunglow. Is there any features that ensure you that it's a jungle sunglow and not just a sunglow? I would hate to find out I sold a Jungle Sunglow for the price of a sunglow!

cbmorphs Jun 04, 2009 11:20 AM

First off thanks for the reply!

As far as being able to tell if this Sunglow was a Jungle, it was easy, really! In person when you see yours born, you'll know just by looking at them what's what. If you have a high end Hypo Jungle to begin with the Jungle babies from that animal should be easy to distinguish from the normals, at least it was for me...

Not all Jungles ( high end or not ) have that really aberrant patterning to them... I've seen really really nice Jungles that have normal patterns, but the colors on "THOSE" Jungles are usually incredible, which I think makes up for the wild patterns, although I prefer the wild patterned ones! I think as babies right after birth, Jungles are easier to pick out ( at least for me ). I've noticed as they get to a certain age (3 to 6 months) they get a little harder to distinguish. Then at around 7 to 12 months they really start to color up, at least this is what I've noticed with the 4 litters I've had so far ( all unrelated litters too)!

Do you have any pics of your Jungle to share?

The Sunglow Jungle in this post is definitely a Jungle, he looks this way because he's about to shed any day! They're colors tend to dull up a little when in shed... Here's a few more pics of him, maybe this will help...
The Sunglow Motley litter I recently had has a Sunglow in there that has more color than this Sunglow Jungle, but he's not a Jungle... I also have a Stripeline 06 Sunglow from Yagi that could pass as a Jungle, but isn't one! There's just certain things that stand out on Jungles that doesn't on a regular Boa... I'm sure there's other breeders that could explain this better, like Peter K. or even Jeremy S... When you produce your litter of Jungles you'll see what everybody's talking about....

I can see the Jungle now in those pictures for sure. This hypo jungle that I have was produced by Jeremy Stone, Her colour is amazing in person, the sides of her face is a rich pink, you can tell the salmon gene is strong in this one. Shes doesn't have an extreme jungle pattern but you never know she still could produce some nice looking jungle patterns. She won't be ready to breed until late next year. She is only 4.5 feet and just over 3 pounds if I weighed her correctly.

Nice Jungle, her babies will no doubt be smoking hot!

Thanks for the photo!

Thanks! I think?

There's a couple other Normal Jungles from this litter that are even more colorful, it's just they are in shed still!

Amazing litter Chaz! they are all so beautiful. That sunglow jungle is stunning, very cool even saddles too. I really like the 2nd and 4th hypo jungles posted and that last normal jungle with the super tail is.. well.. terrific! Thanks for posting the pics, only thing better would be if they were here at my house.

it's those kind of complements that make posting on the forums fun!
With any luck some of these will be breeding this coming season. I'm really looking forward to the babies some of these will produce...

Thanks,
