It said in a thread back there that some people breed 7 or 8 females to one male!! is that true? and if yes,can anybody tell me how they scedule that???one female per day and then from the beginning again??????

some males will breed 8 females and yes you can do it from cage to cage and move him everyday........

other males won't even breed one this way.....if you move him around too much..........

a good way would be to place a male and 4 or maybe 5 females into a huge cage and let them live together for 3 months(take them apart once a week to feed them individually).....it works well....I've done this more than one year.........

if you are going to use one male to try to get as many babies from as many females as possible........it better be a good male....and I would tell you to try 4 maybe 5 at most.......

I had more troubles with the one on one breedings than I did with the gang cage setups.........(OH......with the gang setups....I used 5 females......and I used 2 or 3 different males- rotated also........100% success this way....)(and yes all females do NOT breed the same weeks or ovulate the same weeks and they laid eggs a month apart from each other.......)

With these group setups, when exactly do you introduce them all into the community cage? And how large of a cage did you use?

(aquarium...try a 40 breeder extra wide?...for 3 or 4 balls).......(55 gallon tanks too narrow)
