New Caramel Burms

BenR79 Jun 05, 2009 05:27 PM

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to get these guys. Anyone that has been in burms for a while would have seen the few caramels that have pop up over the many years, but for one reason or another none were ever reproduced until 08. So, to get this CB pair of Caramels is about as good as it gets for a burm guy like my self. I can't believe how amazing their colors are, and you really have to see them in person to fully appreciate them. Anyway, I won't ramble on any more. Here are the pics.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I actually bought these from Gulf coast reptiles. They really deserve all the credit for getting this morph going as they brought the adults into the country and were at least able to breed the wc caramel male to make the het caramel offspring that produced these caramels.

"Do you have any labyrinth eggs this year?"

Ha! Ha! Now, there's a story to tell. I bred my double hets again and the laws of genetic theory came back to bite me pretty hard. I'll make a thread about it in the next day or so, when I have time. I found it quite interesting. Stay tuned.......

Later!
