Baird's (a few pics)

Thought these show him off pretty well. The opalesque fusion of fiery orange and brushed aluminum is almost magical in these snakes (as most of us well know and the skin is especially smooth and glossy. This animal is extremely tame. Gotta love this species!

Taking a little romp.

Nice photos. Thanks for sharing.

I have to agree with you about how tame they are. I think they are even calmer then Corns.

Beautiful animal…. Nice setup…
Looks like a male... Do you have a female for him yet?
I have a similar male that will eat anything, anytime, and mate will a rope, if I threw it in the cage!!! LOL

Thanks Bill,

Yep, a '07 male...and he's lightened up on feeding bigtime in the last month or so. I think he needs a date. When I got back into the hobby a couple years back I had no intention of breeding. Now I'm becoming interested but need more space. Sure hope none of my males go "blue" on me

Regarding the setup. seem to work well to lean the Exoterra styrafoam "rock slabs" up against the back of the terrarium. It effectively creates more space and more hide, crawl options.

Dunno, the blotches are morphing orange on yours, on mine they just faded out. That is an awesome snake! How old?
