Ok...I was wrong...

kingofspades Jun 06, 2009 02:19 PM

So I commented down below about that clutch of eggs that I had issues with...4 eggs, two died, two looked bad...

Well...both babies were pastels...
but both babies were kinked and malformed...and had to be put down.

You win some, you lose some.

My other clutch is doing great, including that HUGE egg, and is set to hatch around the 25th. I'll keep you all updated.

How did you put them down, I think some people just freeze them? Just curious if I ever have to go through that, knock on wood.

That's what I did.

The first one wasn't even alive I think...he wasn't moving...

The second one...was barely alive...when I say kinked, I mean...stuck in a ball.

That sucks! Good luck on the rest . . . I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for twins in the big egg.

Thanks. I'm hoping too. When I candle it there is a HUGE dark spot and PLENTY of veins.
