Bit Me.... Ouch!

I was giving him a antibiotic injection and I was so absorbed in immobilinzing the limb that I didn't have good control of the head. He let me have it on the fleshy part of the thumb pad on the palm. Fortunately he doesn't have very big teeth and only left a few pinpricks of blood however he exerted a fair amount of bite presssure to make it hurt!

Yeah, they can give you a hell of a bite if they want to. Last time I handled some WC ones ome of them drew a nice horseshoe of bloodspots on me. Mine have only given warning pinches a couple of times, like for waking them up. Fear bites are very different from comunication bites.

My WC male eastern bit me and it draw quite a lot of blood.I was feeding it and it mistook my hand for a mealworm and grabbed my finger.
