Tom
Didn't you get a hypo x Blaze last year from the ones Tony and i produced?
-----

I'd like to think it's one....but since it is female it will be hard to prove. If it were male I could breed it to a Blaze and a Hypo...but no such luck. Pics coming soon

Thanx All! ... More!
Thank for the compliments
This project was 1st thought of by Rainer (bluerosy) and TonyD in order to prove "Blaze phase" was unrelated to hypo.
After the undertaking, i figured it'd be a great project! So i did my own pairing...
After getting these `09 hatchlings I'm leaning more towards TonyD's explanation that Blaze has nothing to do with RED/ORANGE...
anyway... here are some pix!

I really like that yellow blaze offspring...
I don't think that is a Blaze x Hypo (hyperythristic x hypo), it may just be a hypo. But I like and and want it to.
What do you think it is Z? hypo? Hypo x Blaze?
One looks hypo, one looks blaze and then the light orange one looks like a double homo..(?)
I also like the heavy saddles that the original Blaze was resonsible for. Kinda puts your signature on that line. Not all the Blaze have those heavy saddles.

I think the yellow hatchling is a "Blaze phase"...
TonyD said a while ago that "blaze" had nothing to do with RED/Orange and i believe he's correct! Blaze originated from a HI-RED goini project to begin with so hence the reason the originals are hi-red... Tony produced a very YELLOW blaze from a "Blaze phase" X "Blaze Phase" Pairing... hopefully he can chime in and post pics of it.
the orange hatchling appears to be a 2x HomoZ... but i wont call it that for sure.
got eggs from this pair due to hatch by the 20th... hopefully i'll get some more answers:

This pair looks awesome. Good luck with the clutch.

Thanx Man... i hope to see some better stuff from this pair... i've got another clutch on the way from this pair!
TonyD said a while ago that "blaze" had nothing to do with RED/Orange and i believe he's correct!
I know that TonyD said that but I have never seen a yellow Blaze. But I know what you are saying and what he is saying. I have seen hypos mixed with goini before and some come out yellow. Whatever it is , it seems to be everyones favoruate as a hatchling. But we know that the look changes as they get older.
I guess well just have to do what you said and wait and see what comes out of the next two females for answers.

I only produced a yellow het. I have however speculated that the "blaze" trait may simply be a form of hypomelanism and that it got interpreted as hyper etheristomenaobalistic becasue it orginated from a hi red line.

I agree. These are only mans names. The peanut butter is also a type of hypo just like the Blaze is a form of hypo. But both are a little different and do different things that they should not be called hypo.
Where did you find this word anyway?..(hyper etheristomenaobalistic). heh heh!

Didn't you produce a very pale blaze a few years ago from Blaze x Blaze?
i can recall you posting pix of it.
~Z
Yes, not sure I'd call it yellow though. I'll see if I can't find a pic.
