Which ones are easiest to keep, breed, raise babies, etc.
I've only kept new world stuff, but some of these oldies look very interesting, especially those high red and orange specimens.
Thanks,
Mike

Here's a couple I've been keeping for at least ten yrs...
Chinese twin-spotted ratsnake, Elaphe bimaculata...

South Korean Dione's ratsnake, Elaphe dione "var: Seoul City"...

Others will probably list different species which are also fairly easy to keep. However, the easiest ones tend to be the less colorful ones. Don't expect all of the Old World species to be a piece of cake...LOL!

I keep Japanese Ratsnakes (Elaphe climacaphora). I have 1.2 with one female being a mainland variety and a pair of Kunishir Island locales. I find them to be easy to keep and cornsnake tame for handling. They are very pretty snakes. The only drawback is their tendency to go off feed at random times for long periods. You have to live with that without freaking out. Just offer food and eventually they will feed again. Here is my Kunishir Island female:

God Bless Evolution.
Very nice specimen. I love the turquoise showing through on the head, beautiful. Hope you're successful with them especially if you can get a Kunishir male as the mainland locales are drab in comparison.
