I would personally put them in a tub with some ventilation(holes) since the snake is out already and needs to breathe.

You can leave the snakes in the incubator as long as it is big enough, to have enough air trapped inside once the lid is closed. I wait until all the snakes from a clutch hatch before moving them, although, this year I might put them in their own hatchling rack tub as soon as they come completly out of the egg. My incubator tubs are styrofoam and about 10" x 16" give or take. So, there is plenty of air in their for them, plus, there are tiny imperfections in the top of the styrofoam where the lid rests, so I am sure a bit of air circulates that way. This is a pic of one of my incubator tubs, just prior to me placing the babies in their own tub in the hatchling rack.

NOTE: I do not use the plastic grid at the bottom, that was a one time experiment

there in a shoe box size! I'm going to drill some holes tommorow!
Do you think than they will be fine?

Before they start coming out I move all the eggs into a tub with a damp paper towel and few holes - they'll all live in this tub in the incubator until they've had their first shed.
