Enclosure size

ravenor Jun 09, 2009 08:37 AM

I just aquired 2 female leos, around 12 months old, both raised living in the same enclosure. The enclosure they are currently in is around 18"l x12"w x12"d. I fear this is a little too small for them both to live comfortably in. I do have an enclosure that is sitting empty at the moment, it measures around 36"l x24"w x24" deep. Hoping to get some opinion on wether this is too big, i dont think the floor space is a big concern because alot will be covered with hides/decor etc, my worry is that it may be too high. Any info appreciated

The one you have empty would be perfect as for the hight that makes no difference as long as they can not get out, it is actually a good thing you can put a nice size branch in it for them to climb mine love it. The extra floor space is good as well gives them room to roam and chase their food and is good for exercise. I'd set it up and watch them explore. hope this puts your mind at ease.

Definitely switch them to your extra tank. They will appreciate it greatly!
