Lavender TX Rats

byron.d Jun 09, 2009 05:59 PM

My pair of two year old lavenders. These are small adults - around 36" They gave up a clutch of duds earlier this season. I'm hoping for another batch soon.... Hopefully good ones..

They've both become very calm and handle able - so long as I'm very slow and deliberate with them, which is cool because I dont handle my animals much.

Anyone else producing lavenders or amels this year??

BEAUTIFUL ...."very calm and handle able - so long as I'm very slow and deliberate with them"

I have had the same experience with the male I got from you, and as you know he was kinda high strung. But if you startle him he will tag you, if he sees you coming he is fine and handleable.

good to hear he is doing well

yours should be ready to breed to, correct?

yeah but no female, I do have a beautiful breedable female lucy texas but have decided to get a female lavender when I can. These snakes are kinda rare and instead of making double het's I decided to try and get him a lav female instead.

byron labeled him as the HOLYGRAIL of texas rat snakes in his add here on kingsnake, I had to have him lol
