Nokturnel Tom Jun 09, 2009 07:33 PM

Well reality has set in and any which way I look at it I just dont have enough eggs on the ground to commit to Daytona. Unless a small miracle happens I wont be there. I will miss the fun this time but lemme tell ya...if you can go.... GO.

no not THAT one

say it ain't so Tom...do you think the heat and prolonged drought has had anything to do with the lack of good eggs? I know we are inside but...??? I have had a slugfest and super small eggs are the norm this year, even from my best girls, this year my males are gonna be snakecicles.

I never said I had a slugfest did I?
What I have are snakes going through the motions and then not laying at all. The majority of eggs I expected to be good are looking good.
If I had to guess it was the fact I could not afford to feed things as much as I had in previous years....

The thing I find odd was this winter was nice n cool and usually us southern folks are worried we don't have things cold enough for a long enough period of time.

I did lose a very important breeder in one project...man that stings....but for all I know this may still be my best year ever...it's just the timing of Daytona.

Also consider I just got back from a week long vacation, we're booking another and since my 10 year wedding anniversary is coming up we are going away AGAIN. Squeezing in a Daytona trip without having my table jam packed with things is a risky trip to say the least.

You never know...my wife and I wanted to bring the in laws and my kid this year...so we are all bummed...

After 24 years was that a romantic gesture?

I guess I ask because after living with someone common law takes into effect and you are bound just like a marriage contract uner the law.

I will never understand why anyone would want to get "married" in the biblical sence if they don't beleive in Gods institution. This is the "romantic" part I don't get. why do people feel they do this and then discredit God and His existence?? So really, there is only the legal context left as far as marriage is concerned.

Personally, I don't think that marriage should have anything to do with the state. It should be just one type of marriage and not two and not one has anything to do with the other. For instance if gays want to get married they can, let them be free. Just don't ask for the gov't for a legal law, step, ruling. Same goes with every poor sap that got married and has not reveived the contract handed out by the state..and OH MY, if you did, AI! Your off to a bad start. Catch 22 for fellas...

Basically I break it down to 2 different types of marriage 1) the Biblical 2) the state "legal" marriage.

Think of it this way. The marriage is a huge business for America economy. If your future spouse and you don't beleive in marriage (Marriage is Gods institution and not mans)so why spend all this cash on a traditional "I do" cermony with God and all if you don't really care about what God thinks or if He thinks at all about what we do. Save yourselve some money and use it to start off life in a better way .

And JYohe , this was not directed at you. Just a rant. I think it is great you guys did that and your sweetheart deserved that. I just don't know if people know or think about what marriage actually is anymore. I can tell you it is not a church wedding nor a civil cermony.

....I never met GOD and Jesus was killed, so he didn't do his own miracle.....he was real....

anyways......

I got married for $$$$$.that's it.....if I die the Gov't cannot say we were not married ,if she dies I want the same treatment...fair is fair......the fact that after 5 years you are legally binding if you live together only applies if you owe money ....if they owe YOU money, I bet they (anyone including Gov't) will try and rip you off.....

.....marriages, could be the exchanging of neonate snakes by a family in return for the bonding of their offspring?....

......what?...your mother in law still wants four pigs and a new wagon?....man she's hard core.....I gave her a pair of peanut butter brooksi crosses....???LOL
