Bad but funny story............

APLAXAR Jun 11, 2009 10:43 AM

so my girlfriend just recently bought me a new female corn, a really nice butter. We have also just recently planted our garden for the summer. well the day after she bought me this new corn, she came into work and told me that the corn was dead........... my jaw dropped, and i asked which one, and she said "all of them" i thought i was going to have a panic attack, just what i need, to loose my collection to some freak thing. she then continued to tell me that they wilted in the full sun, took me second but she was talking about the corn i planted in the garden. I calmly told her that she cannot say things like that without thinking about them first, she made me think all my corn snakes were dead, thankfully they are all still alive and healthy

thought i would share
Adam

Ouch, my heart sank when I read your post!!! Glad it was miscommunication and not an actuality!!!

Me and a buddy came back from road cruising/herping one night and he spotted a snake under my car port by a bale of pine mulch. He thought it was a toy snake due to its coloration. Turned out to be my male butter striped corn!!! That was definitely his best "catch" of the night LOL! I used a slightly smaller box in the rack he was housed in and apparently was able to squeeze out. Needless to say he was put in the correct sized box immediately upon capture.
