Here are some pictures of my backyard from a couple of views and the Eastern's side of the box turtle enclosure since filling in with new plantings. Also, we just had our deck finished and I just finished putting in the flowerbeds around it, as well as a stock tank for my spotted turtles. Enjoy.

Nice setup Curtis. Looks like a very liveable backyard. So when are you inviting us all over for a barbeque?.....

Your yard is wonderful! I got those little ponds from Home Depot that are really supposed to be water falls like yours, and was wondering ....do you put anything in there to make it more shallow? I filled it with water and it is too deep for my three toed.

I put the natural looking aquarium gravel in mine. One ten pound bag was enough so that it becomes more like a wading pond.

You can see it in these pics.

Another angle.....

Yeah, gravel is a good idea, although it makes it hard if you have to empty them out when they get filthy. I actually just put a couple pieces of flagstone on the bottom, just so they can get a grip. My juvie Easterns love the pool. They both literally swim in them everyday. Don't forget, 3-toeds are very good swimmers, so I would be afraid to leave them deep, just put some kind of rock in there so they can have something to grip to climb out.
