when and what to feed a new born ball?

are pinkie rats ok? should i wait for there first shed?

Wait til their first shed then try either a rat pink or a hopper mouse! Some people aren't keen on feeding pink rats to young snakes (bone structure not formed yet), but I say, if they'll take a rat, get em' on them asap, since ultimately, that's what they'll be eating as adults!

All of mine last season started on really small adult mice and had no problems.

I've even started big babies on live medium adult mice. People seem to underestimate what they can eat and I've had better luck with something that at least has a lot of hair.
