Please help me figure out the laws!

I'm currently living in NY, and I know this state's reptile laws and regulations... What I need help with is Virginia's reptile laws and regulations. I will be moving to VA soon and I want to know if I can keep my reptiles and/or buy more. I will be moving to northern VA (Staunton or close to) if that helps any. I've tried google searching different phrases like "reptile laws of Virginia" and a few others, but I can't seem to find anything.

So, are there any Herp laws in the state of Virginia? What can or can't be owned? Please give any advice or websites please!

Try contacting the Game and Inland Fisheries department - that's what they call their version of the DEC/DNR. I *think* venomous are allowed, but check your city and county ordinances also. A very few native species are allowed to be sold (corn snakes?). For most common native species, you're allowed up to five of each native species (five eastern painteds and five cooters and five eastern box turtles, etc). But, there's no permit system for those, so you can't have more than five. No posession of terrapins. I think NA wood turtles were recently added to the "thow shall not" list.
