a towel partitions off his basking area somewhat
with his lights all on a timer now. It's getting
cooler in the mornings here so his lights are on
from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. today (86 F now outside)
but on cooler days or rainy days I leave them on
until noon or even all day when it rained like crazy
last week.

Piece of melamine that clasps into the window frame itself
and sits inside. This would only be in place if the door
was also shut so he can not get to the window from the
outside.

I don't know why it looks so weird - I think because I changed
the size of the pic. always makes melamine look funny, anyways
it's white. It can be stored here where it has a frame to clasp
into and sits on storage hooks.

I put a concrete white tortoise under his door, he go jammed
there once (quite a fright for me, I dug him out barehanded -
such a dork, it torts can find a way to get in trouble they
sure do it.). Now he can't get up under the door (which is
steel).
