Does anyone have any recommendations or a link to ideas for a good number/code system for keeping track of adult breeders and babies?

Thanks

Just go with something easy for you and that will prevent doubles.

year male-female clutch-number baby-number
is a good idea
09M0101 (would be the first baby of the first clutch of 09 and a male).

You can choose to remove male/female or add other information for the type of morph etc... up to you !

yea....like they said

......name then year then number as you like...

PR090001
PR090002

or as they start with 0101....

I used to do 0901 then had to go with 09 001 and finally because too many snakes with nicknames like 005 in all types of species I went with stuff more like the 111 or 001 or 0001 to start....I even use maybe an initial?....PR09001A

......any way you like....some people go with names....Eve and Adam would be your starting names...LOL......crap.....names like pinny, lesser, albino boy , spiderman, make it easier maybe???...

....

I do Year, Morph, Sex, # of Animal, and clutch #. Gets a little complicated with the hets and stuff. but It works for me.
