This is a new Varanid project for us, and so thought we would share a couple of pics of our new arrivals. We are allowing them to acclimate in relatively sparcely furnished quarters, and then once we are happy they are feeding well and generally robust, we will transfer them to their long term enclosure.

Cheers

Thanks Tom, we share the same tastes! Your "prasinus complex" species are real screamers....

Great monitors to have and they are named after one of my best friends [A German man] who discovered them [Manfred Reisinger] some years back. I seen alot of importers selling them as yellow phase green tree monitors but indeed they are larger and IMHO are mush more docile in fact I have another friend who has 2.2 of them and they are W/C. He gets eggs 1-2 times a year now for quit some time but managed to hatch one the last time I spoke to him. I would imagine a CB specimen would be a perfect monitor based on how docile the W/C ones are. They like rainforest like GTM. Good luck with them!
