What do you get when you spin butter?

Markus Jayne Jun 13, 2009 01:14 PM

You get whipped butter or "Butter Whip" for short.

To be honest I'm not sure if theses have been produced yet so please let me know if they have.

This is a Butter/Spinner cross and I had one chance at it this year. It is a male to boot.

Let me know what you think of the name. Yes and I have had Butt Whip suggested but I just can't see a kid asking his parents for a Butt Whip. LOL!

Hope you like!

Very nice snake.. IN MY OPINION to make things easy drop the whole whipped thing. How bout a butterspin or spinnerbutter, or butterspinner. Something that when its advetised you recognize what it actualy is by the name.. Make things a little less confusing... Very Nice Snake Tho!!!!!!

I agree, that is one beautiful snake and it sure makes it easier to know what is in all these 3-4-5 morph combos if people would just state what is in them instead of trying to come up with cool new names, but hey that's just my opinion. Either way congrats on a beautiful snake.

other names it could be:

butter/lesser spinner
spider kingpin (assuming butter and lesser are the same)
pinstriped lesser bee (assuming butter and lesser are the same)
or pinstriped butter bee

so without giving it a new name, it could be stated many ways already, why complicate things further. But if I produced it I might try to give some out of this world name too, lol.

I would say, "Butter Cream" instead of Butter whip. But....

You send that little guy to me for the cost of shipping. I'll get to know him real well, and then I'll let you know what awesome name to call the next batch you hatch

Seriously, that's a fantastic looking snake, congrats. I agree with the other poster who said "butter cream".

jason Jun 13, 2009 04:34 PM

my fiance' just suggested you call it the "I can't believe it's not butter", though I think you'd need to use a lesser in the mix to make that name work.

toshamc Jun 13, 2009 04:42 PM

Congratulations! It's a beautiful snake.

I have to agree with THE SPITTER BALL or THE SPUTTER BALL!!!! I think they are both cool names. What ever you name it, it will surely fit, because that snake is INSANE LOOKING!!!! Congrats, Bob

Markus that has to be one of the nicest looking new morphs in a long time. It is OUTSTANDING.
I can't remember what half the morphs are named so I like it simple and as self-explanatory as possible.

Way Awesome Job!

I like it!

Markus Jayne Jun 16, 2009 10:49 AM

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions guy. I really liked the Sputter ball but a Spider Butter combo is already called that so I am going to keep it simple and call it a Spin Butter.

Thanks again!
