Collier County Burmese Python

wstreps Jun 14, 2009 09:34 AM

A buddy invited me to go do a little road cruising last night. We were in Collier on Floridas west coast when we saw this guy crossing the road. A snake this size produces quite a bit of musk. We also came across this cottonmouth I thought was really nice looking.

Personally it`s not only the reptiles but also all the other wildlife that makes snake hunting so much fun. Deer, possums, boar hogs stuff like that

I keep thinking about that--- seeing a Burmese friggin' Python in the middle of the road while cruising. Mind-blowing! Guess you guys in FLA have had to get used to that. Nice couple of snakes.
I've got to adopt your outlook on road cruising. It's only after I've seen a few snakes that i can egin to enjoy the rest of the wildlife on those all too few cruisinf nights.

Ernie,

That's a gorgeous cottonmouth! What'd you end up doing with the burm?
