Very impressive, don't see many of them produced in captivity. Are there any O. s. scutellatus being bred in the U.S? Also curious as to the length of the female and the clutch size. Thanks much for posting.

i dont know of anyone doing coastals in the states. i will be doing all 3 species next season if all stays to plan.
my pair of pngs that bred this year are very small.
the female was around 3 feet and male was slightly larger when they mated. she laid 6 perfect eggs, but i lost 4 due to a mess up on my part. 2 eggs hatched and they are a 1.1 so i am ok with that.
there is a sibling pair to my pair that bred this year as well and in one of the eggs that didnt make it there was a hypomelanistic.
so we are hoping that next year we can produce some live ones due to larger clutch sizes.
exciting to say the least.
