Help, my mali is sick

My pet mali which I recieved from some neighbors has some stange swelling in his front two feet! It is only on his front "thumbs" and they are bigger than the rest of his feet. It dosen't seem to bother him, but I want to see if there is any thing I can do to help him. So if any one has any knoledge or knows what to do I would sure appreciate it.

have the toes changed to a lighter color? it's possible he is having problems shedding. a warm water soak could help. it happened to one of our malis before we knew what was wrong, and it could lead to them losing toes.
