hey there,
my female is not really utilizing the hot end of the tank. but my male is going back and forth to both sides quite regulary... any thoughts? both hot ends are at the same temp, around 88 degrees...
there are hides on both sides...

During a certain stage of embryogenesis, a female will stay as far from the heat as possible. This may be what is happening here, have you observed copulations?

no, no copulation that I know of. she is kept divided from her male brother and is only about 8 months old...
