Has anyone seen this ridiculous show? The episode featured the python vs gator from 2005 when the python burst with the gator inside. I didn't watch the whole show but what sensationalism. And I quote..."some people keep these snakes....AS PETS!" You have to add that weird dramatic voice.

I have to take my cable box in this morning and will lose the show on my DVR. So I guess I'll be looking to record it again in the future. My husband wanted to see it, too, but had to leave for work.

When, oh when, will Skip Snow release the real story?

I saw something very similar called wild docs about the fl burms and the "exploding" python. You would think they were talking about an escaped serial killer on americas most wanted "alien snakes lurking".I have a few theories of my own about those pictures and it involves certain gov. officals seeking publicity and the funding that comes with it by any means required..I believe the burms have become the w.m.d.'s of fl. in a weird way

Those pics are real. Contrary to some of the stories I've heard, the "exploding python" was found by a helicopter pilot who works with the park/researchers (not by a national geographic photographer) while taking a professor to or from one of his field sites out in the glades. He checked it out but didn't have a camera so he went back and grabbed one and then came back and took the pics. Everyone jokes that he missed out on making millions from the pics because he used a camera that belonged to the park service (making them public domain).

Enough with the conspiracy theories. It is not uncommon for pythons to eat alligators. We've found about 10 of them in the stomach contents of pythons from the park.

I don't know if it's the same show or not, but I saw part of one a few months or so ago that was so slanted I had to turn the channel. The one I saw showed scenes of researchers in training on how to handle wild Burmese Pythons. I bleieve it was in the Keys.

"When, oh when, will Skip Snow release the real story?"

Never. It's called "job security." Just like Rodda's propaganda, it's all designed to bring in more government funding for research.

It's up to us hobbyists to reveal the truth through educational shows & displays. We have to reach the youngunz before the "educated(?)" un-educate 'em.

Later!
