Poll for anyone who has bred balls...

jason Jun 18, 2009 02:33 PM

With some of the recent "first morph produced" posts, I got to wondering the following:

1-What is the first ball morph you produced, and-

2-What is the first ball python you ever hatched (If you can remember).

The answer to both for me was a female albino.

First morph I hatched was an albino female back in 1998.

First Balls I hatched were just normals back in 1993 , back then for me it was a ton of fun just to see if I could get them to hatch, it was long enough ago that I took pics of the eggs and babies with a polaroid (sp?) instant picture camera! Ya, it was a few days ago, lol!

Ah, the trusty polaroid. I still have one-with film, even. I remember using it to take photos of my animals back in the day-it was great for making it look like you were photographing your animals from the next county

Cool. The 2 funky colored ones are hets.
The only line of albinos I know of where you can visually which ones are hets when they hatch.
Great job!

I bought the het parents directly from Bob Clark. Do you know if he works with (or was working with in the early 2000s) this line, or is it a fortunate coincidence?
