Coming home from work, I found a male on my road, and a female crossing the driveway. Not bad, considering it's been hot and dry this past week or so. I couldn't find any two weeks ago in the rain, but I can find two on the hottest, driest day this week...

I went to the woods this morning,after a long morning rain.It was very humid and I thought for sure I would find plenty.Not a single box turtle,but I did see a one-eyed mud turtle.This was the same area where I had recently seen 9 boxies on an afternoon walk.
