Rat rack

kingofspades Jun 20, 2009 08:26 PM

I made a few mistakes, but then it turned out BETTER than I thought.

There are no rats in the 2 bottom tubs.
1.2 in top, 1.3 in 2nd.

Some of the ratties. The beige one is Isaac. He's technically my girlfriend's rat, but he's a good breeder male. HUGE!

Heck yes! Huge and inexpensive.

I might just stick with those.

ya there cheap now, but if you exapand you'll definitely appreciate a watering system and in the long run will be cheaper compareed to lots of water bottles, plus you dont have to worry about them running out of water

I'll see what happens. Right now that rack is in my living room, and my apartment has no room for expanding my rats. Haha.
So yeah, I literally look 5 feet from me and I can see their water levels.

in that second pic it looks like there's a hole on the lip of the tub?

if so.....................once they find that hole you can kiss that tub goodbye.

make sure the room that they are in always has the door closed. makes it 100% easier to catch an escaped rat.

good luck!

The hole is not where the rats can get it. (If that makes sense).

It's not in the tub...it's over the hump where the lip is, and outside of their habitat. (Best way I can explain it)
