I like the look of the Boaphile cages but I'm worried that because they are built for a larger snake that the kingsnakes will escape. I will be housing a 1 year old king and a newish pueblan. Has anyone every used these cages for kings?

I have a dozen 321T cages and like them alot.
I have floridana in six of them (one snake per) including
an '08 that's fairly small.
I have gophers in the other six (again one per) including
some pretty small '08 SD gophers.
For the smaller snakes I leave the center partition up so they
get half of the cage for now.
The width between the glass and cage edge is just wide enough
to hold two quarters. So pretty tight...I don't think you'd
have any issues with year old snakes escaping.
I can try and post a pic or two if that'll help...

Thank you for the reply... no pictures are necessary just wondering if I would have a problem; I was hopin' I wouldn't cause I love the look of the cages. thx again
I very much like his caging. It is well-made and functional. And made with very tight tolerances. I have some and love them.
However, simply from a common-sense standpoint, keeping baby milksnakes in cages designed around boids may not be the best approach.
You can easily raise the milk up for another year or until there is no chance of it fitting its head in the gap around the cage door. Once the snake is that size, no problem. Same goes with kingsnakes of small size. They all have those relatively narrow heads and very smooth cylindrical bodies.
That cage will be awesome for the grown-up versions of your snakes for sure. I just don't think of those cages as baby colubrid cages, unless you are talking about baby bullsnakes perhaps.
