If I saved animals from PETCO, would anyone adopt any reptiles or amphibians? Thanks.

If Petco is giving them to you for free, then that's great. How did you talk them into that?

Okay. Well if I did. Would anyone lke to adopt one?

No. I haven't got any yet. If I talked them into it.

Good luck... If they're as sick as all that you probably shouldn't ship them anyway.

No. The business of saving, rehabilitating, rescuing, ext ext reptiles is a serious business not to mention expensive and I believe rehabilitating them requires a license. You would be as bad if not worse than petco if you shipped them of with out rehabilitating them first. On that note do a little research. I have a real hard time placing blame when it comes to large pet store chains suck as Petco or Petsmart. I have quite a bit of knowledge in the pet trade and understand that a lot of animals come from the breeders in ill health. The aforementioned is really the number one resone that Foot Hill Reptile Relocation, Research and Conservation Dose not rehabilitate any reptiles. It can get you in trouble both financially and legally before you could blink an eye.

Please do not purchase a sick animal from Petco unless you are going to take it to a vet immediatley, record the facts, and try to bring a case against the store for neglect. Otherwise, call the local animal control and/or SPCA or humane society to report abuse. Also consider reporting it to corporate at www.planetfeedback.com

Purchasing sick and/or wild-caught animals from a store only encourages the store to get more of them, and creates a vicious cycle, putting more animals at risk. Unless you can get the store to hand over the animal, go through other means to stop the abuse.
