is it still too late?

JonathanPG Jun 22, 2009 12:18 AM

Well i had posted a comment a couple of months ago about my females, they are both up to weight and age, the both have bred to two different males that i have introduced to them, at least 8 times each, im pretty much at that point of no return and telling myself i didn't make any this year, but i wanted to know your input on this, thanks again.

i dont think its too late at all. it really depends on how u cycled ur snakes. i just had a clutch lay about a week ago. good luck

they can breed year round as long as the female has follicles big enough.

for example i just had a female ovulate this weekend. eggs should be on the ground next month, and hatch september.

Not at all-we have at least four or five females still gravid in various stages right now.

It is definitely still a possibility. I had a pastel female who just ovulated, and I fully expect her not to lay until August or September. Last year I had a female at my work not even copulate until the middle of July and she laid at the end of october, so it is always a possibility.

I'm glad you asked that question man :D I've been wondering the same thing. This is my first season breeding balls and I've got one girl that was breeding all winter long with my cinnamon. She's now off feed, not breeding and I believe she just had her POS so I've still got my fingers crossed for some eggs! Good luck to ya man!
