topical ointment?

frogurt Jun 22, 2009 12:36 AM

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on a topical ointment that would help heal some small abrasions on my corn snake. I'm not sure how he did it, but he seems to have hit his head against something sharp and there is a small dot of blood located on the top of his head. It became apparent after his latest shed.

Thanks!

As long as it is a small wound, neosporin or another triple antibiotic ointment will be fine. Just watch to be sure it is healing and be sure the snake is not rubbing more. This is reasonably common with fish tank set ups.
