Saw two very recet DOR easterns on the way to work this morning. Both were large and looked to be female. I see so many road kills that I'm often numb to it but every now and the the waste of it hits me.

if you spend to much time thinking about the cost of modern civilization to the environment and innocent wildlife "in the way of progress" you'll never leave the house again...

I for one am quite amazed that those retards at PETA aren't pushing for a return to horse and buggies...

Especially after you've spent a lot of time and energy raising up a hatchling Eastern, Makes you think about all the things that poor animal went through to attain adult size just to be mowed down thoughtlessly by someone as if it were a mosquito swatted for bothering you out in your backyard.

Myself and "Patton" were out a couple of weeks ago busting are buns looking for a specific locale eastern king when we found a four plus footer that had been killed by some a--hole. Man, I was hot for hours.
