First define what you want in a rack. All of the major rack mfgrs produce a great product.
I would pick a rack based on the size tubs you want, material you want, portability needed (i.e. does it need wheels?), ability to heat (even though you don't need heat now, you may later, and if so, you may want a rack that you can install heat in later. I say buy it with heat and don't use the heat if not needed, but have the capability.)
My favorite racks use larger tubs for adult snakes.

"All of the major rack mfgrs produce a great product." thats all you had to say. i was just wondering if pepole liked any brands over the other.
Vision is good, especicially for the money. If you don't mind having covers on your tubs, you might go with inter-metro racks.
They come in black, chrome, and white, with casters. You determine how many shelves you want. A rack size of 48" wide, 24" deep, 60" h, x 4 shelves should run about $250 or less.
Check the web site for Metro shelving.

I avoided this subject as its vague and really manufactures all have a ninche and realisticaly produce a quality product. otherwise they wouldn't be in business.
I myself have an ARS 7030 rack. Works well for my species, but can be a bit dry. Brian was great to work with and its a very high quality product. My only complaint is I wish the 70 series tub was a bit deeper.

I like the ARS and Freedom Breeder racks best, but they are professional quality. And with that comes professional pricing. Boaphile Plastics makes some good adult racks for smaller collections. Reptile Basics and Animal Plastics have decent racks for the price. Look at all your options before you decide. It all boils down to how much do you want to spend and how high of a quality do you require?
