Golden corn lays 16 eggs.....

BlueKing Jun 22, 2009 01:37 PM

but it seems (according to my wife), that six of the eggs appear to be slugs. Hopefully the other 10 eggs are good... She started laying them Saturdy night, and just finished today. Her older daughters should be laying their eggs anytime now.

Glad to hear you got eggs.

Here's hoping they all hatch nice healthy babes.

Best of luck at home and abroad.

Very cool.
Are you planning on breeding any of them to an amber or carmel to prove those out?

Yes (breeding with a caramel), is what I have planned for next spring with the original female.

Do you need a little help with the caramel testing? this is exactly what I had in mind if you had an extra surplus males show up this year..
