That is one neat looking spider with what looks like really high white sides to come. Any history on either parents?...and can I take it off your hands? ;P

anendeloflorien Jun 23, 2009 11:21 AM

Wow, that's pretty cool looking :D Any pics of the parents? It looks like some spiders that I've seen from really reduced pattern animals..... Either way really nice spider!

I really like that mom. Might not be anything but those broad side pattern with flames and the oversized light blocks down the back are interesting. Maybe breed her to a spider again next year just in case it wasn't a fluke.

That is an awesome spider.
Please post updated pics after shed?
Almost shares some characteristics of a pinstripe?

jjhall Jun 23, 2009 01:44 PM

raise him up and breed him back to mom

apeilia Jun 23, 2009 02:01 PM

How much does it weigh and how many days did it take to hatch? The pattern looks maybe a bit underdeveloped...

frankye Jun 23, 2009 02:14 PM

He came from the egg at 63 days of incubation ..
I can not weigh now weighing him tomorrow and I know you.

striping in boas and pythons that is not genetic has come from temperature fluctuations while incubating eggs/babies

pitoon Jun 23, 2009 05:45 PM

your temperature was a bit to low, that's why it took an extra few days to hatch.

cool looking spider, but it's pattern is temperature related.

Awesome spider. I would like to see how the mom and siblings look.

The mom looks very chocolatey.
Yeah it might be a coincidence with the temps but I would breed that spider back to mom.
