... how can I help along a yearly shed that seems to be stuck, soaks in the sink don't seem to being doing it. Mostly worried about the feet so the skin comes off the toes!

Just be patient. It's most likely not ready yet. And pulling it off early will damage the new skin underneath. I have a female that has looked ready to shed for more than a month.
