Balls and high humidity

timmah Jun 23, 2009 07:38 PM

Its really humid these months and the room my balls are in, are about 70% humidity 80-85degree room temp and i am using a cobra mat with a rheostat set on low, spots about 95-100 where mat is.

Is the humidity too much? theres not much I can do about it until the heat of the summer ends

Balls are babies

thanks

Hi,

My Balls love high humidity.

Good luck,

Are they easily over heated? It does not seem like it to me because they get in the hottest spot on cobra mat and i pick them up and they are like a fire ball

snakes know what they want, theya rent stupid...do they have enough room to regulate? if they do there is not a problem...btw i live in florida and my hunity and temps are the same...humity sometimes higher...but they do fine..and act like they always do...so urs will do just fine

K just making sure, I got them today, should i wait a few days to feed first mice?

They are not gonna be able to regular any lower than 85 though because thats around room temp

Generally, I ambients should be in the low 80's with the hot spot around 90. Hot spot of 95-100 is too hot, coupled with the room being 85 could cause problems.
