Hi, all! We went to the South Carolina Reptile and Exotic Animal Show yesterday and got a beaut of corn that we've named "Ed"....(I am attempting to post a pic, but haven't had much luck in other kingsnake.com forums).

I haven't cared for a snake in almost 10 yrs so I'm pretty excited as is my 7 yr old son!

Does any body know what type of corn he is?

That is a nice little normal you have there. Have FUN!!

Cute little guy there I have four more for sale if you want one You'll soon see, you can't have just ONE cornsnake

TRUST ME! If it were up to me, I'd have many more and be a breeder and start a reptile rescue. But my hubby is the catch...he doesn't like snakes, or any reptile for that matter. I think once he gets used to Ed, he'll lighten up a bit.

I know a few too who just hate snakes and lizards. And I love to pick on them and say "what a man" lol I did give one of my babies to a friend's son, and she was just so scared, she wouldn't touch it or anything....a couple months later, and she's KISSING IT! lol...hope he comes around for ya, I only lasted two months with one corn, then I just HAD to get more, and breed more, and buy more....lol

I know! Little Ed is okay for now, but I'm a boa/python girl at heart! I also fell in absolute love with some, what I call (only b/c I don't remember all the lines), "mutt" kingsnakes being sold by blue rosy at the same show. Gorgeous snakes! He was selling 2 groups of 1.2 mix kings/corns/rats whatever they were I LOVED them! I have his contact info for when Rog lightens up so I can get the same line of snakes later. Plus start adding some bigger ones and starting a rescue. I was actually recently told that over a thousand years ago, I was a snake trainer (a guy at that ) and that she could see me w/a big snake, brown with black splotches and a girth as big as my thigh. I nearly fainted! I'm not sure if I believe in past lives and stuff, but gee, that was a bit freaky!
