Need opions on this guy...

melindaste Jun 24, 2009 03:22 PM

I got this guy yesterday, his stripe has no breaks and he is really light. Person i got him from said he is a genetic stripe, From the pics I have seen I think he is just a fancy normal. Maybe I am missing something. Any input welcome.

Looks like a fancy normal to me... real nice normal though!

Yea he is and the price was right. I got him for free. His coloring is great.

Hey, ya never know! If it was free, the guy had no reason to lie!

Really nice normal...

Yeah, he's not a genetic stripe...but free is a good price.

He looks like a gorgeous normal - not a genetic stripe but the stripe may be genetic - can't beat the price -- good luck with him.

Thanks everyone. Think I am going to pair with my pastel see what happens.

no it is a fancy ball. Because a genetic stripe has no pattern on the sides.

Genetic stripes can have patterning on the side, though it looks nothing like the snake in question. They are a much lighter color, with little to no "alien heads", and the belly is different. Here is a heavily patterned genetic stripe

In the pic it is hard to tell but is your female really light where the stripe is, my male is really light then darker on the sides. And his head is really light also.

morphevolution Jun 26, 2009 06:48 PM
