Very nice boxie pad, the moss and pennywart are filling in nicely around the "pond" making for a magical' looking little area. I think all it needs now is a little garden Gnome.

the box turtles are like little garden Gnomes but cuter and a much more lively personality.

That looks great! I saw your other pictures a few weeks/months ago. You have carved out a nice little piece of box turtle heaven right there.
Looks really nice. That is a sweet little pen for you turtle.

heyyy very nice setup man. quick question what are those bushes and flowers you are using are they safe? im trying to make some final additions to the landscape also. Any would be great.
thanks in advance
Wow, terryo, looks great! It makes me want to pick up a few more plants for my pens... How much sun and when do you get it? Everything looks so lush. My pen is in the shade for most of the day and it still dries out so quick from this 100 degree heat.
Thank you...The enclosure is sunny all day until about 4 pm. A lot of it is filtered through some tall trees though. I have hosta's, creeping jenny, begonia, portulaca, sedum, haens and chicks, hardy hibiscus, grape vine, strawberry, a little Rose of Shanen plant, day lillies, petunias, and three different kinds of Hosta, some moss around the water dish. In the back end there is a sort of cave that I made with bricks on each side and on top a long piece of slate. In the hide I put lots of leaf litter and soft compost, so she can dig under. Everything grew and spread out nicely and there are plenty of places for her to hide under. I still bring her in at night. She is only 2 years old, so I don't think I will let her hibernate yet. I used this site for the plants...it is my favorite...and I use it for my Redfoot also http://www.africantortoise.com/edible_landscaping.htm
