lids for rubbermaid

blueselaphe Sep 14, 2003 06:58 PM

I saw some pics of rubbermaid type boxes that had wire lids. Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find or if they have a better lid idea.. I'm not breeding a whole bunch of mice so a rack won't be needed. Thanks, Blue

Blue,

Make sure they don't have anything they can get their teeth started on. I've had some damage to the end edges of sterlite tubs because of that.

Here's a lid pic.

Here's one made of the original lid. The same type of chewing damage.

if you put the wire mesh on the inside of the original tupperware lid, then they can't do that. when i used to breed a lot of mice at a time, that's what i did and i never had a problem.
