Sad news.....

rainbowsrus Jun 25, 2009 01:04 PM

You may remember the story of Lazarus, my striped male and his sister Azalia that both arrived basically lifeless and were revived by gentle warming cupped in my hands. Lazarus never did well afterwards. Was a very finicky eater and most times would not eat. Two days ago I found him passed away in his tub. So sad to have lost him, even more so in that I feel I saved him at the time but was unable to ultimately save him. Good news is the breeder is going to replace him when he has another striped male, some in the oven now. And his sister has done fine, no problems with her at all.

Dave,
Sorry to hear about this loss. I know you probably bonded a little closer to this one given the situation you received him in. At least the breeder is doing the right thing.

Dave,

Really sorry to hear this, he was a neat looking BRB. Good to hear the breeder/seller is doing the right thing, though. Good luck getting the new one.

Thanks,
Ed
