Warning: Snakes have been shown to cause death in laboratory rats.
My guess is a Pastel Powerball.

"What is man without the beasts?
If all the beasts were gone,
men would die from great loneliness of spirit.
For what happens to the beasts,
soon happens to men.
All things are connected."

If the pattern on that snakes head doesn't look like a skull, then nothing does.

You're right, it does. Maybe it's a punisher pastel powerball?
In 2005 we produced some strange het piebalds, pastel het piebalds and spider het piebalds all carring what we call the Leopard gene. Below are some pics of the animals we produced in 2005. The name came from the spiders carring the gene because of the golden color and the black spots.
This is the father of the 2009 Leopard Pastels He is the 1st Leopard Pastel in 2005

Here are the 2005 Leopard Spiders

Here is a pic of a 2005 Het Piebald carring the Leopard Gene

What we think is happining is 50% of the hets are visually showing a pied pattern with out the white. We do not know why but we have proven that it can be reproduced using one of the het pieds carring the leopard gene of a piebald carring the leopard gene.

Very nice and thanks for sharing!
So are all the leopard's het piebalds?
Does the leopard trait ever get passed through a non het piebald (like leopard het piebald to a normal produces a normal looking non het piebald that when bred to an unrelated piebald produces more leopards)?
Where did the original piebald that throws 50% leopard het piebalds (did I get that right?) come from?
I'm wondering if leopard is a new allele of the piebald gene. Have you bred two leopards and produced a pied yet and what did that pied look like? Does it throw all leopard het pieds?
I share your excitement (and questions) Randy LOL!
