07' spider just laid her eggs!

djslurp1200 Jun 25, 2009 05:29 PM

Sorry for the terrible quality photo's... I didn't have the camera with me and all I had was my phone... We recieved only 4 eggs from this girl but for an 07' female that we picked up in March last year @ only 500g's we're pretty stoked! We got her up to around 1700-1800g's bred her to my Graziani Pastel male and she had just laid her first clutch for us! Special Thanks to Neil Golli hooking us up with this girl back in March 08' at the Tampa show!

We're only looking at 1 in 4 odds or 25% chance of hatching a bee out of each egg but I'm going to be a little optimistic and hope for 1.1 bees! LOL

that cord BTW is actually the temperature probe from the Accu-rite thermometer... Mom had those eggs right at 87* degrees!

Thanks for looking and best of luck to everybody this season!
