at least i think so! its a pair of morning dove chicks nesting in my wifes hanging flower pot. this is the second year in a row that they have built a nest in that same plant.

You really can't say a mourning dove "builds" a nest There are multiple nests in my research sites and I find the young on the ground because their nests are usually two sticks crossed with eggs on top. Smart of them to use a hanging plant though. Good solid bottom.
