It is really hard to tell. I have some that look just like this but they are captive bred crosses of yellow X grat ratsnakes. It is also a little hard to tell size but pure yellows would be loosing more of the blotches by now. Is this one captive born or wild caught. I am sure if its wild caught some one will be able to pin the morp down much finer, but if its captive born it becomes more difficult.

Honestly I was not told if it was captive or wild. I can tell you the snake is only 13 inches long. I was told by the reptile store that it was a Yellow Rat Snake, but from images online I was begining to wonder.
The general rule is that yellow rats have black tongues, so it may be an intergrade with a everglades. I got young yellow years ago that had a red tongue, and he grew up to be the most yellow rat in coloring that I have ever seen pictured.
Give it a year and you will know what you have.
I agree with Elaphefan, if its only 13 inches, it will proabaly still go thru a marked pattern change. Let us know how it turns out.
Through research I thought myself that he was an Everglades Rat snake because of the tongue
